The brief

This project is funded under the National Oil Seeds Project (NOSP), supported by IFAD Loan No. 2000003281 and OPEC Fund for International Development No. 14466P, with additional financing from the Government of Uganda. The objective is to rehabilitate 10 km of community access roads in Aceba Sub-county, a remote area in northern Uganda where poor road conditions severely limit farmers’ access to markets, inputs, and services.

This project directly benefitted over 5,000 households engaged in oil seed production (sunflower, groundnuts, sesame) by reducing transport costs, post-harvest losses, and travel time to district headquarters. Ficah Enterprises will mobilize local labor and equipment from our northern Uganda regional base, ensuring rapid deployment and community engagement.
